St. Patrick’s Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) is offered for students in grades one through eight who do not attend Catholic school. PREP gives these parish children the opportunity to have their Catholic faith nurtured through formation and instruction in scripture and Church Tradition, prayer and worship, community, and service by catechists who work in two-person teams. PREP happens from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings [between the 8:30 and 11 a.m. masses], Sept. 8 through May 3, 2020 in the Bowling Commons, which is one level below the Church.
The fee for PREP is $50 per student, $150 maximum for any family. All children are accepted into the program regardless of ability to pay the registration fee. A waiver can be obtained by making your need known to Mr. Tim Grove, director of faith formation, at 502-719-0362 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Fees are automatically waived for any children whose parent serves as a catechist or aide in PREP.
Parents whose children are unable to participate on Sundays are asked to contact Mr. Grove by e-mail or phone.
Parents whose children have particular learning or behavioral needs are asked to contact Mr. Grove by phone or e-mail.
Parents who would like to home school their children in faith formation are invited to contact Mr. Grove. Teaching materials, a sacrament preparation schedule, and other special opportunities will be provided.
Online registration begins July 15.
