Unbaptized children seven years of age and older are prepared to celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist through this process adapted from the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This adapted RCIA for children also is for children who have celebrated Trinitarian baptism but have not received any further religious instruction or sacraments of initiation. Through this process, such children are prepared to celebrate Confirmation and First Holy Communion during the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday.
This six-session process plus retreat/service day usually meets on Sundays following the 11 a.m. beginning in January.
