Shelby James currently teaches 5th Grade Literature and English at St. Patrick . She began her teaching career at St. Patrick in 2016. She previously substitute taught for Shelby County Public Schools, and JCPS. Shelby graduated from St. Nicholas Academy, Eastern High School, then went on to the University of Louisville. She has a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies, and is starting her masters program in the near future. Shelby enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her friends, family, and her husband. She loves being a 4th grade teacher, and loves teaching at St. Patrick!
